Hattie, "Na Naw", 99, passed away Monday at Palestine Regional Hospital in Palestine.

She had lived the majority of her life in Bleakwood. She lived in Port Arthur fifteen years before returning to Kirbyville to live the rest of her life.

Na Naw was a seamstress for many years and made many quilts during her lifetime. As a young lady she sang in a church quartet with her brothers. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and great-great-great grandmother who loved her family and was always there for whatever their needs may have been.

Survivors include her daughter, Bobbie Jo Williams-Housman; sisters, Mary Hooks Mondello, Susie Hooks Broussard and Finetta Hooks Cochran of Kirbyville; seven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, thirty six great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tony Maselli, her son Richard Williams, four brothers, one grandson and one great-grandson.

She will be especially missed by her four legged canine companion Star.
