COX, Harold "Pat" age 79 of West Carrollton passed away after a sudden illness at Sycamore Hospital. Pat was born in Corbin, KY on March 4, 1929 to the late Henry and Rilla (Smith) Cox. He retired from Frigidaire Division of General Motors after more than 35 years of service. He was a 55 year member of Zion Memorial United Church of Christ. Pat was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John, Frank, Hershel and Norman. Surviving is his loving wife of 61 years Hazel, daughters and sons-in-law Janet and Jack Mooney of Beaverereek, Cathy and Don Finster of West Carrollton, brothers Leland (Judge) Cox of Riverside, Melvin Cox of Corbin, KY, Otis Cox of West Carrollton, sister Juanita Beck of Fairborn, 4 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, 2 great-granddaughters, 1 great grandson and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be Monday November 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Memorial United Church of Christ 4000 South Dixie Dr. Moraine with Rev. Ray Kaiser officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Monday 2 hours prior to services (12 noon-2 p.m.). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the West Carrollton Food Pantry c/o Memorial United Methodist Church 26 Locust St. West Carrollton, OH 45449 in Pats memory. Pat was very active with this organization and would be a great tribute to him. Pat will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Arrangements Sanner Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
