He was born June 15, 1924, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Fred and Zora Williams Wright, who preceded him in death. On Feb. 1, 1947, he married Pauline "Pug" Dyer, who died April 16, 2007.
Mr. Wright had been a machinist for Ohio Steel/Teledyne, Lima. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a son, Tracy Wright, of Kenton; three daughters, Sherry (Doug) Sauer, of Bowling Green, and Patty (Albert) Burkheimer and Penny Emerick, both of Lima; five grandchildren, Scott Sauer, Lisa Messmore, Douglas Sauer Jr., Chad Burkheimer and Dyllan Burkheimer; a great-grandson, Shane Sauer; a brother, Joe Wright, of Dayton; and two sisters, Linda Smith, of Ada, and Sue Little, of Lima.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Aaron Wright; and two sisters, Rushie Hackworth and Ruth Kindle.
