Mrs. Julia Haddock

Mrs. Julia Haddock, 53, of 835 Cherokee ave., died in General hospital at 3:30 p.m. yesterday of injuries received in an automobile accident last Saturday night.
Mrs. Haddock was a passenger in an automobile which crashed into a telephone pole on Jones avenue.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete last night.
A native of Macon county, Mrs. Haddock was educated there, but had lived in Nashville for the past 30 years. She was the widow of Ellis Haddock, Nashville carpenter, who died two years ago.
She is survived by eight sons, Charlie, Lester, Chester, Colonel, Billy, Harold, James Robert and Vester Haddock all of Nashville;, eight daughters, Miss Nellie Haddock, Mrs. Mable Clark, Mrs. Geraldine Baker, Miss Daisy Haddock, Mrs. Virgie Davis, Miss Juliett Haddock, Miss Jewell Haddock and Miss Marie Haddock, all of Nashville; a stepson, John Haddock of Nashville; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Annie story of Marion, Ind., and Mrs. Evelyn Hesson of Madison; a sister, Mrs. May Glover of Macon County; a brother of Bethpage, Tenn.; 38 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Survived by 10 daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Hesson and Mrs. Gerald Dean Baker both of Madison, Tenn., Mrs. Annie Lee Story, Marion, Indiana, Miss Nelly Haddock, Mrs. Mable Clark, Mrs. Daisy Vettet, Mrs. Virgie Davis, Misses Juliette, Jewell and Marie Haddock all of Nashville; 9 sons, John Ervin Haddock of Donelson, Tenn., Thomas, Billy, Lester, Chester, Harold, James Robert, Vester and Colonel Haddock all of Nashville; one sister, Mrs. Mary Glover of Macon county, a number of grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Remains rest at the funeral home of Phillips-Robinson Co., where funeral service swill be conducted Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, b y Rev. P.. A. Shelton. Interment National cemetery. Phillip-Robinson Co., Directors.
