Lorena Smith May, 94, of Berlin died Saturday, July 10, 2004, at her home.
Born Dec. 9, 1909, in Washington County, Mrs. May was the daughter of the late Samuel Taylor Smith and Virginia Hartley Smith.
She was a retired owner and operator of Berlin Grocery and a member of Berlin Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years and belonged to the Women's Missionary Union.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer May.
