FUNERAL ON THURSDAY
Services Will Be Conducted At The Residence By Fred Stovenour
Mrs. Barbara Anna English, after an extended illness, passed away at her home on West Arch street Tuesday morning about eight o'clock. Mrs. English was born at Versailles Ohio January 19, 1852 and was the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Miller Pitsenbarger. Her husband the late John English died in 1894. Mrs. English is survived by three children, Bertha of Muncie, Scott of this city, and Mrs. Mollie Scott of Portland, Oregon. One brother M. M. Pitsenbarger of Champaign, Ill., and four sisters Mrs. H. V. Brown of this city, Mrs. Zellah Harris of Arlington, Mo., Mrs. Maggie Brooks of Richmond and Miss Kate
Pitsenbarger of Barnard, Mo., also remain. Mrs. Harris and Mrs. Brooks were at their sister's bedside. A son Bert English died in 1898, having been shot while serving in the Spanish American war. A daughter Dollie died in childhood. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the late residence, Rev. Fred Stovenour officiating. Burial will be made in Green Park cemetery.
