James Johnson, Born to Eternal Life on November 6, 2008, at the age of 31.

Loving father of Chloe Isabella Johnson Petersen. Loving son of Suzanne (Greg) Slominski and Dan Johnson. Devoted brother of Jordan Slominski. Grandson of Bonnie Wellens, Leroy (Camille) Johnson and Elaine Czarnecki. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

James was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Wellens, his cousin, Joseph Wellens, Jr. and his uncle, David Johnson.

James's love for his daughter was the most important thing in his life. He was the best Dad he could possibly be. James went through a courageous three year battle with brain cancer. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

Special thanks to the staff at Froedtert Hospital and especially Dr. Kate Hospice in Woodruff, WI, for their kindness and gentle care.

In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up for Chloe at Citizens Bank in Woodruff, WI or donations can be sent to Dr. Kate Hospice.

Services will be on Sunday, November 9, 2008, at 5 PM at Faith Lutheran Church, Germantown. Visitation will be from 2-5 PM at the church on Sunday. Burial will be on Monday at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Almond, WI.
