Alexander Farkas, 1630 N. Meade street, died at 8:55 p.m. Friday after an illness since last December. He was born in Hungary Dec 15, 1880 and came here in 1906. He was employed by the Singer Manufacturing company for 40 years. In Hungary, he married Rosa Gocza, who died in 1937. In 1939 he married Mrs. Mary Nagy, who survives. Also surviving are four children, Mrs Herman Unger, Mrs Jerry Post, Mrs Leo Deka and Alex, Jr.; three stepchildren, Mrs Homer Moon, Mrs Andrew Hartman and Andrew Fuzy: 10 grandchildren, and six step-grandchildren: a brother Stephen, and a sister, Mrs Anna Szabo, all of South Bend.
