Steve Farkas, 1514 N. Meade St., died today in his residence after a year illness. He was born in Hungary Dec. 25, 1878 and came here in 1906 from that country. He married Catheleen Radick in 1903 in Czechoslovakia. She survives. He also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Samuel Rosnick, Chicago, and Mrs. Geza Szuczs, Galien, Mich; four sons, Steve Jr., Ann Arbor, Mich.; Louis of New Carlisle; Joseph of Dowagiac Mich., and Julius of South Bend; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
