"FORMER CONGRESSMAN JACOWAY'S MOTHER DIES - Member of Widely Known Arkansas Family Had Been in Ill Health Since May - Mrs. Elizabeth Davis Parks Jacoway, 88, widow of the late Judge W. D. Jacoway, died at the home of her son, H.M. Jacoway, former congressman and now vice president of the Peoples Savings bank, 2109 Louisiana street, shortly before midnight last night. She had been in ill health since May. Mrs. Jacoway was born August 11, 1838, at Nashville, Tenn. She was the mother of 11 children, being survived by four daughters, Mrs. J.C. Hart of Little Rock, Mrs. Virgil Bouldin of Montgomery, Ala., Mrs. L.C. Adams and Miss Ethel Jacoway, both of Dardanelle; two sons, Dr. W. D. Jacoway of Dardanelle, and H. M. Jacoway; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She also is survived by two brothers, Walter D. and Sam Parks, both of Westville, Okla., and a sister, Mrs. Mary O'Brien of Bowling Green, Ky. The body will be sent at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon to Dardanelle, where funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. Burial will be in Brearley cemetery."
