JACOWAY, Miss Bennie, daughter of Judge and Mrs. W.D. Jacoway, at the family residence in Dardanelle on the 4th inst. in the morn of bright womanhood. The simple announcement is enough to let the world know there is heart piercing sorrow in a household in our midst and that a bright spirit has winged its way to Heaven to bask in the sunlight of God’s eternal love and join the angelic bands in his praise. A lovely maiden just entering upon womanhood-one that was pure, true and good, loved by her brothers and sisters, doted on by a fond father and mother, and highly respected by all who knew her, has gone, gone to deepen the wounds in paternal hearts, made by the death of sweet Maggie so recently, gone to join that dear sister in the skies, where death never comes and sorrow never enters. The family has lost a very dear member, the community a bright jewel of purity and excellence, but heaven has gained an angel of light to look over those sorrowing once left behind and draw their souls by chords of love to the world of light of life and love.
