Back in Edgecomb he rejoined his career for over 35 years with Bath Iron Works, retiring as an outside machinist.
Memberships: Knights of Pythias/Boothbay Harbor, the Wells-Hussey American Legion/Damariscotta, and former member - deacon of Edgecomb Congregational Church/Edgecomb.
Clarence loved to go to Rockwood to his camp, paddle the Sheepscot River, go crabbing and lobstering on the river recreationally, tending his flower gardens, and took great pride in mowing his lawn.
On Heaven-side he joins his first wife Lois Dodge, and his second wife Carolyn Dodge. Missing him in this life are his son Alan Dodge and wife Joy; daughter, Linda Wood and husband Keith; two grandchildren, Jason Wood and wife April, and Stephanie Grant and husband Jim; three great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Earle; and brother, Leon Dodge.
