Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Mims of Winona will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 15, at Oliver Chapel, with interment following in Michie Cemetery near Vaiden. Rev. Gene Jordan will officiate the services. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mims was a homemaker and died of renal failure at Winona Manor in Winona, Mississippi on Friday, September 12. She was 72 years old.
She was preceded by her parents; Emmett Butler Pace and Estus Edwina Pace Farris, two sisters; Betty Pace Dempsey, and Shirley Pace Robinson
Survivors include her husband, J. W. Mims of Meridian; daughter, Robin Ramage of Florence; sons, Johnny Mims of Florence and Bobby Mims of Winona; sister, Martha Boyd of Maud, Texas; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Adam Ramage, Jeff Parker, Michael Taylor, Daniel King, Johnny Huggins, and Dustin Huggins.
