She was born Nov. 29, 1905, in Madison County to the late Charles H. and Julia Carter Runnion. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry C. Taylor; three sisters, Rose Broyhill, Nona Clodfelter and Ennis Briggs; and one brother, John H. Runnion.
Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker. She joined First Baptist Church of Lenoir in July 1926, where she was very active within the church. She also was a volunteer RSVP at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
