Actor. He was best known to television viewers in the role of 'Lt. Frank Dain' on the series "Jigsaw" which was part of the ABC wheel series "The Men" from 1972 to 1973. He also was known for his role as 'Simon Quaid" in the short-lived CBS series "Beyond Westworld" in 1980. He landed a scholarship at Carnegie University and attended there for a short while, but ended up in the Marine Corps. After his military service, he ended up in various jobs before taking an interest in acting. He auditioned and later earned a spot at the Actors' Studio. He later went to California to pursue a career in both television and film. His first acting role came in 1967 on the television series "Bonanza". Besides "Jigsaw" and "Beyond Westworld", he went on to appear on numerous television series during his career with such credits as "The Guns of Will Sonnett", "Death Valley Days", "Daniel Boone", "The Virginian", "Cannon", "McCloud", "M*A*S*H", and "The Fall Guy". His first film appearance came in the 1972 production "Joe Kidd". He also appeared in such films as "The Private Files of J. Edgar Hoover" (1977), "Battletruck" (1982), "The Survivors" (1983), and "Mission Manila" (1990). He left the acting profession after his appearance in "Mission Manila". He passed away after a battle with lung cancer.
