Rosabelle "Belle" Pierce is my great grandmother. I grew up visiting Rosabelle, as she lived near me. I have wonderful memories. She is the only great grandparent that I knew.
Rosabelle was born August 4, 1867 in Hutchinson, Minnesota to John Samuel Pierce and Eleanor King. On February 1, 1886 she married my great grandfather Wellman Butler Kennedy.
To that union 6 children were born:

Sunny B Kennedy 1886-1886
Eleanor Margaret "Ella" Kennedy 1887 – 1934 m Beyer & Norton
Arlie Ann Kennedy 1890 – 1909 as per family information Arlie died in 1909 at the age of 19.
"Fred" William Kennedy 1894 – 1989 m Zenda
Mary Demarris Kennedy 1898 – 1976 m George Eubank, my grandparents.
Carl J Kennedy 1901 – 1955 m Ruth Smith

Prior to his marriage to Rosabelle, Wellman was a preacher in the Methodist Church. His occupation was that of a shoemaker and a farmer.
In the 1900 Census, Wellman and Rosabelle are living in Collinwood, Meeker, Minnesota. By the 1910 Census they had moved to Bear Creek, Latah, Idaho. They lived in Kendrick, Idaho and it is there that Wellman built the 1st round roof barn in the area.

Wellman and Rosabelle's children attended the school at "Bear Ridge", Kendrick, Idaho.
