Avron "Chicken Box" Moore, 62, of Jesup, Ga., died Monday July 7, 2008. He was a retired Wayne County Recreation Dept. Employee, a member of Crossroads Church of God, and the Sr. Adult Sunday School Class. He was an avid fisherman.
Survivors are his wife: Ima Jean Hall Moore of Jesup, Ga., 2 brothers: Richard Moore of Jesup, Ga., Daniel Moore of Waycross, Ga., 3 sisters: Maurice Goss of Brunswick, Ga., Burnice Dixon of Patterson, Ga., & Delores Goss of Jesup, Ga., 5 step-children: Glenn Cantwell, Deborah Evors, Tammy Lynn, Robin Curl, & Bossy Hall, all of Jesup, Ga., several step-grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren, & several nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 11 A. M. Wednesday July 9, 2008 from Rinehart & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hulet Smith & Rev. Maurice Floyd officiating. Active pallbearers will be: Julain Jackson, Jerone Leggett, Buck Williamson, Larry Reddish, Lawrence Cravey and Lamar McReady. Interment will be in the Flint Branch Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 P. M. Tuesday from the funeral home.
