OBITUARY :
MRS. NELSON GURY.
Funeral services for Mrs. Nelson Gury, 31, of 121 Randolph street, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Parrott & Wood funeral home. The Rev. J. B. Hosier, pastor of the First Assembly of God church will be in charge of services.
Mrs. Gury died Tuesday morning at Worrell hospital in Rochester, Minn., of a complication of diseases. A heart ailment and high blood pressure had troubled her for a number of years.
She was born Zorah See, Nov.18, 1914, in Mt. Auburn, la., the daughter of Guy and Lucy See. She came to Waterloo with her parents in 1927.
On Oct. 16, 1943, she was married to Nelson Gury.
Mrs. Gury was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald, who died in 1928 and Marvin, who was killed in action on Luzon Mar. 2, 1945.
Surviving are her husband; her mother and father who live at 927 West Sixth street; one stepdaughter, Mary Gury, and eight brothers; Kenneth See, 2126 Hawthorne avenue; Gerald See, 1014 Washington street; LaVerne See, 520 Oak avenue; Morris See, 927 West Sixth street; Blake See, Cedar Rapids, la.; Russell See, Welcetka, Okla.; Richard See, in the navy, and Paul See of Minneapolis, Minn.
Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
