Luverne is the son of Charles Augustus Sargent and Clara Rosina (Rose) Hart

Luverne (Louie), was the next in line, as a young man he sought his fortune in Montana, home steading a ranch. Sheep were his main product. Out there he married Edna LaValley. They came to Burnside in 1924 where they ran the family farm. They brought Evelyn and Russell with them. Deloris was born in Red Wing.
Their children:
1. Luverne, Jr., was born in Montana, but died as a baby.
2. Evelyn, married a Klecker who is raising a family of four youngsters in Waukesha,
Wisconsin.
3. Russell is a Methodist minister. He served as a pastor in New York State, and
previous to that was a missionary in Chile and Costa Rica. He is now in Mexico
City as an administrator in Methodist seminary. He and his wife Nancy are the
Parents of Jeanette, John, Luther, Paul and David.
4. Deloris, who married James Mann, they have three children Jeffrey, Barbara, and
Salley Jean. They live in the Milwaukee area.
Louie died of a heart attack about 1944.
