When I was a child, it was not unusual for Mom and Dad to make a detour through a local cemetery on the way home from town. I've been interested in them and the stories they hold ever since. Also, I am interested in the genealogy of my family and that of others. Again, it's largely about the stories. People (and sometimes pets), ordinary or extraordinary who, like you and I, were once walking around, talking, eating, breathing...
and then they're just gone.

I enjoy Find A Grave and find it a tranquil and inspirational place and a great resource. It can also be lonely and a bit spooky too, and that's good, like the real thing. Overall it's very touching and thought provoking.

I hope to continue helping with photo requests and by eventually adding some memorial pages.
