MRS. NANCY BASS, (MRS. MARY FRANCIS BASS) 83, EXPIRES THURSDAY
Mrs. Mary Francis Bass, 83, of the Bass community on Andalusia, Rt., died at her home at 1 a.m. Thursday after one week of illness. Mrs. Bass was born in Covington county and was a member of the Baptist church.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Joice Ward, Jay, Fla.; Mrs. Babe Hart, Andalusia, Route 6; Mrs. Lizzie Williams, Mrs. Laura Johnson, Andalusia, Route 5; Mrs. Florence Clary, Baker, Fla.; five sons, Bennett, Liberty, Fla.; John, Red Level; Henry, Dennis, and Bertie Bass, all of Andalusia, Route 5.
Pallbearers were grandchildren of the deceased and included Bill Bass, Lewis Bass, Kenneth Bass, Frank Bass, E.T. Bass and Bert Johnson.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Carolina Baptist church with Dr. Jesse A. Cook officiating.
