Grace OGAN MCMANUS was born September 23, 1888 at Gallatin Missouri. She passed away on 12 April 1988 at the age of 99, at the home of her daughter, at Weatherford, Oklahoma.
She has lived at Weatherford for the past ten years and before that had lived at Geary, Blaine, Oklahoma. She came to Geary with her parents when she was 11 years of age. She married Colonel MCMANUS in 1905 at McAlester, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on October 26, 1937 at Geary, Oklahoma. Her parents were Evan and Anna SULLIVAN OGAN. She was a homemaker and also a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include, two daughters, Marge ROBERTS of Fritch, Texas and Ruth NORTON, of Weatherford, Oklahoma., one son Jim MCMANUS of Lovington, New Mexico and six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and eight, great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one daughter, two grandchildren, and five brothers and four sisters. (Services at First Baptist Church, Geary, Oklahoma, Rev.
