Nonnie Cherry Pruett, 78, of Bowling Green died June 14, 2008, at a Woodburn nursing home.The Warren County native was born May 1, 1930. She was a housewife, a homemaker and a member of Cherry's Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a true blue Kentucky fan and loved to work crosswords and bingo. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a daughter of the late Harry Cherry and Felia Belle Meredith Cherry. She was preceded in death by a sister, Alma White; and five brothers, Laymon, Fred, Chester, Ralph "Bud" and Frankie Cherry.

Survivors include a daughter, Ethel Carole Pruett of Bowling Green; two sons, Randy Massey and his wife, Teresa, of Smiths Grove and Steve Massey and his wife, Maleta, of Bowling Green; four sisters, Christabelle Pruett and her husband, Paul, Henrietta Embry and Connie Young and her husband, Weldon, all of Bowling Green, and Inez Steed of California; two brothers, H.M. Cherry and his wife, Holleen, of Horse Cave and Marvin Cherry and his wife, Helen, of Bowling Green; six grandchildren, Miranda Elkins, Penny Tuttle, William Estle Mills, Crystal Massey, Neal Massey and Teri Bowles; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Burial was in Cherry's Chapel.
