Mrs. Lucy Crane, of Owensboro, mother of Mrs. R.M. Wheat, of this place, died at the home of her daughter, in Owensboro, Nov. 30th, after a long illness. Her remains were buried in the Perryville cemetery on the 2nd inst., after a short funeral service at the grave by the Rev. J. C. Gilliam. She had been a faithful member of the church since early life.
