He grew up in Eunice, Louisiana. He moved to Texas and resided in the Stowell area for fifty-four years. He was a well known plumber in the area.
Survivors include his daughters, Mary L. Leday, Beverline Leday, Orelia Davis and her husband, Lawrence Charles, Carla Thomas and her husband, Billy, Andrea E. Leday-Calhoun; sons, Adam Gary Leday, Sr. and his wife Bonnie, Andrew Leday, Sr. and his wife, Joyce, Andres J. Leday, Sr. and his wife, Marilyn, Thomas W. Leday, Sr. and his wife, Lena, Eugene J. "Geno" Leday, Sr., and his wife, Mary Jane; thirty-five grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Mae Guillory Leday; parents, Andrian C. Leday and Maria Florencia Deculus Leday; grand-daughter, Carly Faith Thomas; sisters, Dolina Victorian, May Glory Victorian, Dolvina Guillory, Mable Armelin; brothers Willis Espree, Sandrus Espree, Lavone Leday and Francis Leday.
