He was born on August 3, 1964, in Galveston, Texas, to Viola Mae Guillory Leday and Andrian L. Leday.
Geno was a plumber and like the outdoors, cooking, and dominoes. He loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Leday; sons, Christopher Lee Leday, Sr. and his wife, Julie and Eugene Joseph Leday, Jr. and his wife, Shalandra; daughter, Crystal Nicole Ledayl; two grandchildren; brothers, Gary Leday, Sr. and his wife, Bonnie, Andrew Leday and his wife, Joyce, Andres Leday, Sr. and his wife, Marilyn and Tommy Leday, Sr. and his wife, Lena; sisters, Mary Leday, Beverline Leday, Carla Thomas and her husband, Billy and Andrea Leday; three godchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Orelia Davis.
A gathering of Mr. Leday’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2018, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
His interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie, Texas.
Services are under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
