On 27 Jun 1841, Andreas married Apolonia (AKA Martina) Pawlicka, at the Holy Trinity Church in Gniezno, Prussia/Poland. Apolonia died in SKOKI, Poland on 28 May 1867. This marriage produced 4 Sons and 4 Daughters. Their names were Stanislaus(M); Joanna(F); Theodorus(M); Theophila(F); Bronislawa(F); Ludwig(M); Boleslaus(M); and Pelagia(F). According to the civil marriage records of Walker County, Texas, Andreas' 2nd marriage was to Catherine Gawereeka on 15 Sep 1875. It is believed that Catherine died sometime between 1877 and 1880 in New Waverly, Texas. Andrew was the son of Joannes Kochanowicz & Hudwiga Kaczmarz.
