Per a survey by Aubrey Shaw in 1989, the grave site of Charles Bannerman, Sr. 1726-1783)and his wife, Elizabeth Hufham (1728-unknown) are also in the Bannerman Cemetery.
However, Mother Nature, Father Time & vandals have taken their toll.
I visited this cemetery in 1994 and due to sunken areas and broken unreadable markers, there are several unmarked graves with no way to tell who is whom.
The cemetery is located on the old Pridgen homestead.
I also spoke with a descendant of the Pridgen's who came out with his shotgun to hunt, of all things, rattlesnakes.
Told me I was luck that I didn't encounter any, HA !!! but he did confirm Charles & Elizabeth being there.
