ROBBINSVILLE — Olga (nee) Zdanowich Stefik, 88, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, at Morris Hall in Lawrenceville, with her loving and devoted daughter at her side. Born and raised in South River, she had resided in Robbinsville since 1962. Before her retirement, she was employed for 20 years at The Peddie School in Hightstown as a catering chef. Mrs. Stefik was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Church in South River. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Stefik; her parents, Adam and Anastasia Zdanowich, and her siblings, John Burshanek, Martha Connell, Stella Zaleski, Ann Gonzalez and Helen Arciszewski. Surviving are her daughter, Patricia Stefik, and her husband, Patrick Gearren of Robbinsville; her brothers, Walter Zdanowich and Alex Zdanowich, and her loving and cherished grand dog, Georgia, who gave her much pleasure and enjoyment. She was an avid gardener, a wonderful cook, and loved bird watching and nature. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave., South River, followed by an 11 a.m. service at Saints Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Church in South River, with burial to follow at Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, South River.
