Mildred Brown Bringazi, 67, of the 200 block of Porter Road, passed away April 23, 2008, in her residence. A native of Brookneal, Va., she was a retired medical technician for Dr. Riley and Portsmouth Psychiatric Center. She was a member of Alliance Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Paul Bringazi; three daughters, Connie Adkins Raby and husband Tom, Scheryl Ward Chadwick and friend Gary and Kimberly Ward Evans; a brother, Douglas Benjamin Brown; her two grandchildren whom she adored, David Chadwick and Larry S. Brown Jr.; and her rescued Afghan hounds. A funeral will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Palmer Zerbe. Burial will be at a later date in the Tucker family cemetery, Alta Vista, Va. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Alliance Christian Church. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com.
