I've never really got along well with cats, until I met Jeffrey! Can I tell you how he stole my heart! It took him 3 months before he allowed me to touch him, and I must say that it was such a tender and surreal moment.
I called him my little friend. We had so many beautiful moments together. I was so alarmed when I didn't see him for a few days. Then, I discovered that he was no longer here.
I didn't expect to be so bereft about it, but I was, and I am. I'm so grateful to have known him, for the brief moment that our paths crossed. I will always love him, and think of the sheer joy he brought to my life.
Because of him, I can say that I really love cats, and I really loved him.
