Kathleen Onasch, 69, of Shawnee, KS, passed away November 25, 2023, surrounded by family. Visitation will be from 10:00-10:30, and a Memorial Service will be at 10:30am, all on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112. Interment will follow at 12:30pm at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048.

Kathleen was born December 25, 1953, in Kansas City, Kansas to Jesse and Katherine Rogers, the youngest daughter of eight siblings. She graduated from Turner High School and attended technical schooling. Kathleen married Henry Charles Onasch on May 16, 1981, and they raised two daughters, Darcie and Whitney. Kathleen found great peace in her strong Catholic faith. She was very creative and loved crafts and painting ceramics and décor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Onasch in 2010; her parents; and five siblings.

She is survived by her daughters, her siblings, as well as other relatives and friends.
