Thomas Berube was born in 1861 in Ste-Anne-Des-Monts,Gaspe, Quebec, Canada to parents Pierre Octave Berube and Marie Henriette (Keable) Berube. He married Mary Pelletier Nov 23, 1885 in Burrillville,Providence County, Rhode Island. Thomas and Mary made their home in Woonsocket, RI and primarily Fitchburg, Massachusetts. They had 5 children and 1 adopted daughter. Thomas was residing in Fitchburg in 1915 but died in a Worcester, Massachusetts hospital of intestinal cancer.
Survived by his wife, two sons, Luke and Albert Berube, three daughters, Mrs. Jennie Marin, Alice and Anna Berube, all of Fitchburg, four brothers, Charles, Fitchburg, Adelard and George, Woonsocket, and Edmund of Canada, and a sister, Mrs. Paul Plante of Pascoag, R.I.
