Daughter of the late William Mack Long and Sallie Clayton Long and widow of Harvey Durant. She was a member of Maple Baptist Church for over 65 years. She retired from Horry Telephone. She was predeceased by five brothers, Ben, Ned, Woodrow, Charles and Kingston Long; and a sister, Edith Long Jordan. She was survived by one brother, Clayton Sonny Long; three sisters, Cecile Long Bell, Virginia Long Booth, and Georgia Long Graham; and a number of nieces and nephews. Her funeral was held April 6, 2008, at Maple Baptist Church with The Rev. Gary Reeves and Dale Long officiating.
