Williejean Stalvey Worthington, 77, of Thomasville formerly of Homerville passed away Friday evening, August 11, 2023, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville after an extended illness. She was born in Clinch County to the late Marshall and Vida Pearl Stalvey and lived here most of her life. Ms. Worthington was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God in Homerville and was a former President of Tatum Creek Hunting Club.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Reedy; five brothers, Earl Stalvey, Jimmy Stalvey, Richard Stalvey, Lewis Stalvey, and Randy Stalvey.

Survivors include one daughter, Angela Worthington Blitch of Thomasville; three grandsons, Eric and Carol Corbitt of Brunswick, Deven and Alex Brady of Thomasville, Ridge Brady and fiancé Ashley Vick of Albany; eight great-grandchildren, Cooper Corbitt, Coy Corbitt, Lexi Corbitt, Hunter Corbitt, Raylan Brady, Memphis Brady, Wilder Brady, and Marshall Brady; two sisters and brother-in-law, Patricia and Ervin Stone of Pearson, and Marsha Stabler of Homerville; two brothers and sister-in-law, William "Buddy" Stalvey of Thomasville, and David and Paulette Stalvey of Homerville; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon, August 16, 2023, at 2:30 pm at Lighthouse Assembly of God. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening beginning at 6 pm at Lighthouse Assembly of God.
