Mr. Jimmy Randal "Randy" Cribb, 68, of Florence, died Friday evening, June 16, 2023, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, with his family at his side, after an extended decline in health over the years.

Randy was born on February 15, 1955, a late Valentine's Day gift to his parents, the late Jimmie Cribb, Jr. and the late Virginia Haselden Cribb, of Marion County. Randy was employed with the South Carolina Highway Patrol and had retired from the department after 25 years of dedicated service. Randy, a loving father and grandfather, also enjoyed billiards, loved baseball and softball, and spent most of his free time during his retirement tinkering and fixing things around the house. Randy was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Nebo Baptist Church.

Surviving Randy are his children: Melissa (Chad) Herlong of Marion, Tangee (Randall) Larrimore of Brittons Neck, Jay Cribb of North Myrtle Beach, Josh (Ashley) Cribb of Greenville, SC, and Mary Evans Gibson of Columbia; his beloved grandchildren: Brent (Lilly) Herlong, Kaylee Herlong, Hunter Herlong, Katelyn (Kaleb) Larrimore, Austin Larrimore, Jaden Cribb, Cadence Cribb, Lilly Cribb, Pressley Cribb, Ryland Cribb, and Rivers Cribb; the mother of his children: Sheila Cribb of Marion; his sister, Cindy Cribb Cantey of North Myrtle Beach, a special friend, Sally Taylor; and his niece and nephew: Weston A. (Joy) Watson and Jena G. (Shellie) Watson.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Monday, June 19, 2023, from 3:00 until 4:00 PM in the Sanctuary of Nebo Baptist Church in Brittons Neck.

A graveside service for Mr. Randy will follow at 4:00 PM, in the Nebo Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Greg Black officiating, and directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins.
