Mr. Regan was a native of Person County, the son of the late Calvin and Sallie Jane O'Briant and Joe and Rebecca Regan. His late wife of 28 years was Alice Delene Regan. His late brother was Elmo Regan, and his late sisters were Mary Regan Zimmerman, Mary Regan Long and Elizabeth Regan Duncan.
He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army, having earned the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart while serving in Vietnam.
He was a member of Camellia Baptist Church in Prattville, Ala.
Surviving are a sister, Jackie C. Stone of Delaware; and several nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers were Weldon Bowes, Larry Clark, Wallace Clayton, Hugh Jones, Thomas Long, Carl Oakley and Charlie Stone.
