Obituary of Wayne Miller
Mr. Wayne Miller, 78, of Madison, passed away on May 16, 2023. He was born on October 14, 1944, to Cecil and Lucy Chesnut Miller in Andalusia, Alabama. Wayne earned his Masters's degree from Southern Mississippi University and retired from Whitten Junior High School after 35 years of teaching band. Wayne was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rebecca Anderson Miller, sons, Mark Miller and his wife Dawn and Andy Miller and his wife Marissa; and grandchildren, Drew, Brooke, Lane, Morgan, and Gavin.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Cecil F. Miller, mother, Lucy Chesnut Miller, maternal grandfather, Monroe Chesnut, maternal grandmother, Sara Chesnut, paternal grandfather, Randle Miller, and paternal grandmother, Bertha Mae Miller.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Natchez Trace Funeral Home from 2:00 until 4:00 pm. The service will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital.
