The funeral for Irvin R. Falkner, 49, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing, with the Rev. Barbara Toomey Yara officiating. Burial will be in Trenton Cemetery in the spring.

Mr. Falkner, of New Richmond, Wis., died Wednesday (March 5, 2008) at the Westfields Hospital in New Richmond.

He was born Jan. 2, 1959, in Red Wing. He had resided in Chippewa Falls, Wis., for many years, as well as Spring Valley, Wis., and most recently New Richmond.

He is survived by four brothers, Leonard (Dorothy) Jamison of Cannon Falls, Ralph Falkner and Stanley (Jeanette) Falkner, both of Ellsworth, Wis., and David Falkner of Hager City, Wis.; and two sisters, Marion Nelson of Red Wing and Pearl (Mike) Hauschildt of Bay City, Wis. He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.
