Michael Fair was the son of Michael & Elizabeth (nee Kuhn) Fair, his parents were born in Frederick County, Maryland and came to Ohio about 1830 . Michael married Amanda Besom January 19, 1860 in Miami County, they were the parents of eight children , William, John, Harriet, Charles Albert, Mary, Nora, Homer Edgar and Chester.
