"Died Jan. 27th, 1887, Mrs. Christina Blakesley, mother of Ephraim Blakesley.
Mrs. Blakesley was nearly seventy-six years old and for several years had made her home with her son. Her remains, accompanied by her son, were taken to Waddam's Grove, Ills. for burial. The many friends of Mr. Blakesley and his family sympathize with them in their deep affliction. Mrs. Blakesley had exceeded the three score-and-ten limit by almost six years and died of old age."
