Earline was born and grew up in Davidson County, Tennessee where she graduated from Central High School in 1942. On Feb 17, 1945 she married S/Sgt Vernon C. Berry at the Point Loma Methodist Church in San Diego, CA where he was stationed with the Marine Corp. They lived in San Diego while he was in service. Later they moved back to Tennessee where she was a housewife. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lebanon where a memorial service was held on Thursday, December 30, 2004.
