Edward Boshko, age 95, of Sayreville, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at his daughters home in Medford Lakes. Born in South River he was a lifelong resident of the state.
Before his retirement Mr. Boshko was employed as a Union Plumber for over 40 years at Local 24, Newark.
Edward was a communicant of St Peter & Paul R.O. Church, South River where he was a member of the Men's Club. Mr. Boshko was a proud Navy veteran serving his country in WWII.
He was involved in his community as a member VFW and was a lifetime member of the Albert music Hall. He was a loving father and will be dearly missed by his family and friends, he will remembered fondly for his love of fishing especially in the Florida keys.
He is predeceased by his loving wife of 70 years Elaine, his parents Julius and Anna and brothers Paul Boshko and Al Boshko . Surviving are his daughter and son in-law Leslie and Tony Derwinis and sister in law Eleanor Boshko.
Funeral services will take place on Monday 9:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehaed Ave, South River, 10am St Peter & Paul R.O. Church, South River. Burial will follow at St Peter & Paul Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.
