Juana Pyle Boykin, age 97, went home to be with her Savior on June 3, 2022. She was born March 2, 1925 in Crockett. Juana was married to the love of her life William Travis (Fox) Pyle for 42 years. They had three children together and made their home in Houston.

Juana was a spirit-filled follower of Christ and she spent much of her life praying for anyone in need of prayer. She was a member of Lindale Assembly of God in Houston for over 40 years. Juana absolutely loved to tell all she met of Jesus' love and what He did in her life and would do in yours.

Most of all, Juana loved immensely, loved to laugh and always had a good story to tell. She gave her love freely and in return was loved and adored by many. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were blessed beyond measure to have Juana in their life. Her family always knew how much they were loved.

Juana was a homemaker who worked babysitting many babies who she grew to love as her own. After Travis went home to be with the Lord, she married William Clarence Boykin and they were married for over 21 years until his passing. Juana was a member of Lovelady Assembly of God and Christ the Good Shepherd in Crockett, Texas.

Juana was well known for her delicious chocolate and coconut pies as she brought them to all church functions, family get togethers and gatherings of any kind.

Juana was preceded in death by her father and mother, William Andrew and Jessie Lockey; husbands William Travis Pyle and William Clarence Boykin; siblings, Eunice Gunter, Edith Forrer, James Lockey, Bill Lockey, Jessie Daniel and Dan Lockey; children, Edith Carol Amerson, Mary Ann Davis and William David Pyle; and great-grandson, Monte Mark Willis, II. Those surviving who will deeply miss Grandma (Gg) are grandchildren Toy Dyan Willis and husband, Monte, Ricky Davis and wife, Kim, Angie Rockey and husband, Rod, and DeAnn Juanette Davis; great-grandchildren, Jesi Jo Swoboda, Taylor Davis and wife, Jordan, Rayce Rockey, Toby Davis and fiancee, Shelby, Travis Brax Davis, Mitchell Myles Willis, Kelli Nicole Willis, Bryce Elton Taylor; great great-grandchild, Brentlee Donald Davis; son-in-law, Royce Davis; special extended family member, Shelia Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2022 in the Callaway Allee Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ottis Byers officiating. Interment to follow in Weches Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.callawayallee.com
