Poet. Werner Ovalle López was a Guatemalan poet, writer, and surgeon known for his merit as Master of Gay Saber for having won first place three times in the Central American Floral Games in Quetzaltenango. He was part of the founders of the Association of Medical Writers of Guatemala. His works include "Padrenuestro maíz," "Tiempo conquistado," "Poemas de la búsqueda," "El canto vivo poesía suburbana," and "Raíz de incendio," among others.
