Alphonso Flythe, Sr., 71, of Richmond, died January 4, 2008. Surviving are his ex-wife, Clarine Malone Wright; three daughters, Cynthia Rollins (Allen), Eunicea Ellerbe and Lorie Flythe-Joyner (Alpha); two sons, Aphonso Jr. (Beatrice) and Kenny Flythe, Sr. (Louise T.); six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two brothers, John (Dorothy) and Stewart (Beatrice) Flythe; step brother, Bennie Frank Darden; other relatives and friends; Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where the family will receive friends Tuesday, January 8 from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 9 at Rising Star Baptist Church, Branchville, Va.
