A resident of the Wadsworth and Akron area, he was employed by Conval for 25 years. A U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of The Army-Navy Club of Akron.
Surviving are daughters, Charlotte Pertee; Charlene Ryland; son, Chester, all of Wadsworth; mother, Thelma of Creston; sisters, Cora Brown of Barberton, Elsie Badgett of Dover, brothers, Gene of Creston, Myers of Sharon Center and beloved friend, Maxine.
Private services will be held Tuesday, August 17. Burial Woodlawn Cemetery. (Campfield-Hickman, 745-3161.)
