Waite Park - Everett "Lewis" Coffey, age 73, of Waite Park passed away Thursday, January 6th, 2022 at Edenbrook of St. Cloud. A memorial service will be held at a later date, and cremation will be performed by The Cremation Society of Minnesota.

Lewis was born on January 22nd, 1948 in Benton, IL to Earl and Jocie (Bryant) Coffey. Lewis was married to Ardyce Young on October 20th, 1984. Lewis was a kind, fun-loving, and generous man, and he will be missed by all those who loved him. He worked as a salesman in the trucking industry for 32 years. Lewis enjoyed traveling, reading, history, volunteering, and spending time with family. Lewis' passion was aviation, having received his pilot's license at age 16. He attended the Grace United Methodist Church of St. Cloud.

Lewis is survived by his wife Ardyce, daughter Julia Coffey, son Allen (Tami) Coffey of Albertville, stepsons Franz (Sharon) Young of Richfield and Alexi (Jennifer) Young of Shoreview, four grandchildren, sisters Kay Freeman of Dardanelle, AR, Pat Kirkpatrick of Haynesville, LA, and Charlotte Smythe of Camden, AR, and many nieces and nephews.

Lewis was preceded in death by his infant daughter Marla Coffey, his parents, and brothers-in-law Horace Freeman and Morris Kirkpatrick.
