Sandinista figure. Eduardo Contreras Escobar, known by the pseudonym "Marcos" and later called "Comandante 0," was one of the main Sandinista leaders in charge of the "Juan José Quezada" command against the Somocistas. Thanks to him, multiple negotiations with the dictatorship, such as the release of 18 of the most prominent political prisoners. He was assassinated by the Somaza dictatorship.
