Information has been received in this city (Fort Wayne) of the death of Mrs. Freelove Knapp, who, in the ninetieth year of age, passed away on December 2, at Ponca, Neb., her late home. The deceased was for many years a resident of this county, having lived at different times in Fort Wayne and on her farm near Huntertown. She was born June 3, 1806, at Greenfield, N.Y., moving west when Indiana was a wilderness. Mrs. Knapp was known by her many excellent virtues, and her deeds in behalf of common humanity will long keep her memory dear to those who knew her.
